Grass clippings should be placed loose in a curbside yard waste cart if your hauler provides one. Don't bag the material.
Do NOT place them in your trash can. Yard waste is banned from the landfill as it will not breakdown in the landfill.
Try setting your mower to a higher setting so you have fewer grass clippings.
