Glass beer bottles can be different colours and sizes. Just like most glass products, beer bottles can be recycled many times over for reuse. On their own, the average beer bottle can be used 16 times before it becomes written off for destruction or recycling.
A single broken glass can contaminate an entire recycling batch. If bottles are broken, wrap the fragments in paper before placing in the garbage.
