Bicycles have several dozen parts, but most are made of just a few materials. Virtually all modern bicycle frames are made of aluminum, steel, carbon fiber, or (less commonly) titanium. Components are principally steel, aluminum, rubber, and plastic. There are also small amounts of foam, vinyl, and various lubricants.
Whether it's to a local charity shop or to one of the many charities throughout the country, donating your old bike instead of throwing it away is a great option
