SFU Facilities Services Maintenance Request - Glass

*This solution is for administrative staff only*

For broken glass, please fill out a Facilities Services Maintenance Request and specify what you are looking to dispose of. If you regularly have glass disposal needs, you may have the option (through custodial services) to have a glass bin placed in your department's space.

Follow these instructions:

1. Visit the Facilities "Maintenance Request" page: https://fmrequests.sfu.ca/ServiceRequest.aspx?RequestType=maintenance
2. Sign in using your Single-Sign-On SFU ID
3. Select “Custodial Request”
4. Complete the rest of the form with your department's information and a description of the items you would like picked up
5. Note, you must request a separate bin (e.g. glass bin) to be brought to your office for that item. Custodial services will only pick up these items if they are pre-sorted into separate bins.

Glass disposal bins are also located in labs across campus. If you are located near a science/teaching lab and only need a one off disposal, you may be able to ask the lab if you can use their bin.
