Disposing of an old or damaged barbecue gas grill is not as simple as merely throwing out the unit. Because of the specific and potentially dangerous nature of typical gas grill components, they can't merely be put out with the normal household garbage.

You can often get a scrap metal dealer to come pick it up.

Or by advertising on a classified ad or material exchange site that it's available for the taking.
