If the binder is in good condition it may be accepted by local charities.

The cardboard from inside three-ring binder covers can be removed and recycled with mixed paper in recycle bins.

The metal rings can be recycled with scrap metal.

The vinyl or plastic is not recyclable and can be put in the garbage
