These heavy duty, thick bags are not compostable nor recyclable. Put them in the garbage.

Bags that are coated with polypropylene film or aluminum cannot be recycled because the mixed materials cannot be easily separated.

They can be repurposed:

  • Great plant bags.
  • Wash them and store cookies in them.
  • Use them to collect dried used coffee grains to fertilize rose bushes and other acid loving plants in the Spring.
