- List them on a classified ad or material exchange site
- Sell at a yard sale
- Give to friend or relative
If the cords need repair, you can purchase replacement plugs at the hardware store for a few dollars to replace the head.
Electrical wire is usually accepted for recycling as scrap metal. Many scrap dealers take them for the copper wiring (in larger amounts some might even pay for them).
