Containers such as those containing refrigerated dough, frozen juice, chips, nuts, powdered drink mix, baby formula & powdered cleanser are made of "wet strength" paper, a type of paper that is not compatible with most paper making processes.
However, they can be partially recycled if deconstructed.
Carefully remove the metal ends from the cardboard portion and put them into another metal can - pinch the top shut to keep them from falling out.
