Different types of light bulbs require different disposal methods

LED lights contain no dangerous chemicals. 

Before you toss your old LED bulbs in the trash, consider recycling. Most of the LED bulbs available today are made of materials which can be recycled.

To dispose of these bulbs, place inside packaging (like boxes, plastic containers, or other such items) - this contains the glass if it breaks, and  keeps waste collectors safe from harm..
