If your mop and broom are in decent condition you can donate them to someone who might get further use out of them. Animal shelters might need some more cleaning items.

Instead of tossing mop heads in the garbage try reusing them for other tasks.

  • Use as mulch around plants
  • Great scarecrow wigs
  • Use the individual strings to tie up garden plants
  • After thoroughly cleaning them, they can be used as packing material.
