Certain pet care products such as flea powders, sprays and vet prescribed medicines are considered hazardous waste.

Some veterinarian offices may accept certain pet care products such as flea powders and vet prescribed medications for safe disposal. Contact your local veterinarian office to find out if they have a collection program.

Perhaps animal shelters would welcome a donation of those products (call ahead).
