Plastic dairy tubs with recycling numbers 1-5 on the bottom are sometimes accepted for recycling; ice cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc.(and their lids) can be recycled.
Please rinse all containers. Dispose of small plastic and foil lids, caps, pumps and sprayers.
If they are not accepted in your locality, you can still keep them from becoming landfill through the Preserve Gimme 5™ program.
Do not include containers that contained a hazardous material such as motor oil.
