What goes in the recycle bin is just one part of recycling and reusing materials to keep them out of landfill.

Most municipal programs accept these materials:

  • Paper, magazines, newspapers, catalogs, flyers, phone books, mixed paper.
  • Cardboard corrugated/paperboard boxes, packing materials. 
  • Aluminum Cans, foil, tins, trays. 
  • Steel  cans, tins, lids, empty aerosol cans.
  • Glass bottles, jars..
  • Plastic  beverage/water bottles, milk/juice jugs, shampoo/soap containers.
