 Ammonia products should be disposed of as hazardous waste. 

Ammonia is a colourless inorganic compound of nitrogen and hydrogen with a characteristic pungent odour. It is irritating to the skin, eyes, nose, throat and lungs. 

Ammonia can be found in glass and window cleaners and oven cleaners. 

Household ammonia contains 5-10% ammonia and is considered an irritant.

In commercial concentrations, ammonia vapours and liquids can be corrosive causing severe burns.
