A litter box (sandbox, litter tray, litter pan, or cat-box), is used indoors for feces and urine collection mostly for cats; but, rabbits, ferrets, small dogs and other pets can use such a repository as well. Some animals are given free roam of a house but who cannot or do not always go outside to relieve themselves. A litter box makes it possible to shelter pets from the danger of outside risks.
