1. Less than half full, it can be solidified (using kitty litter or saw dust), after which, it can be placed in a garbage bag and disposed of in the garbage.
2. One inch or less of latex paint can be dried by opening the can and letting it evaporate outdoors (away from children and pets). Then dispose of the dried paint can (with the lid off) in the garbage. Or better yet, take to a scrap metal dealer, where the metal can be recycled..
3. More than half full is reuseable. When brought to the Hazo Hut, Lewis County manages it, and other items, through the SWAP Shack (for reuse).

Accepted paint is collected, segregated into colors, and given away to the public in the SWAP Shack for home or architectural use.
