If your rag bag is full, don't just toss them in the garbage. It's good practice to get more use from those worn textiles, such as old dishtowels, linens, towels, T-shirts and clothing because of the huge environmental costs of making them.
Old textiles can produce a few cents a pound of revenue for any of the chairities that accept them - often Salvation Army is one that will (check with the ones in your area).
