A local company offers a yard waste pickup service for a monthly fee. It provides you with a 95 gallon container in which you can place all your yard waste, food waste and wood waste. It will be picked up every two weeks and hauled to a composting facility. Call 736-3233 for information.
You can take your wood waste to the transfer station in Centralia, for a reduced fee of $60 per ton, or $5 for 160 pounds or less. The wood waste drop off area can be accessed by following the signs and turning left prior to driving up the ramp to the tipping floor.

Johnson Contracting, Inc., 380 Forest Napavine Road East, Chehalis, accepts wood waste, such as new construction, brush and stumps, for reduced prices. Call 266-8141 for information.
If you live within the city limits of Chehalis, you can purchase a permit through the city. You will need to provide proof of residency for the permit. The permit will allow you to dispose of your yard waste at the city's organic disposal site. Call 748-0271 for more information..
Donate your unneeded or used building material: Please check with Habitat for Humanity prior to making a donation. This is also an excellent place to find bargain materials for your own home improvement projects.
