Check with your local dry cleaner. Many dry cleaners accept wire (metal) coat hangers in good condition. Some also accept plastic or wooden coat hangers.
Or, you can donate plastic or wooden coat hangers to your local thrift store.
Wire coat hangers cannot be recycled curbside but scrap metal dealers will accept them.
