Glass Bottles Jars

Buy returnable (reusable/recyclable) glass bottles and jars whenever possible.

Glass bottles that can't be reused may be placed in your curbside recycle container. Clear is the most valuable. Their lids can go with metal. Empty and rinse out. Labels on are OK

Note: Glass of other kinds -- light bulbs, mirrors, ceramics, drinking glasses, window glass, crystal and Pyrex -- should never be put in your curbside recycle container.

Reuse is better than Recycling in terms of energy use.
